Senior Environmental Project Manager - Phoenix, AZ (6-15 years of experience)

We are seeking a full-time Senior Environmental Project Manager with 6-15 years of experience in the permitting and compliance field to join our Phoenix, Arizona office. This position will have the opportunity to work with our manufacturing and mining customers in supporting customer permitting and compliance needs.

Essential job functions and responsibilities will include:

  • Management and mentoring of a team of young Environmental Engineers and Professionals

  • Preparation of various air quality permits that include Title V Permits, Construction Permits, APENs, and APEN updates

  • Oversee and assist with air modeling and emission estimates using various software that include Promax and Aeromod

  • Preparation of various regulatory compliance reporting related to the CWA, RCRA, SPCC/FRP, EPCRA, CERCLA, UIC, CAA

  • NSPS OOOO, OOOOa and OOOOb reporting

  • Related interpretation, research, regulatory liaison and reporting requirements

Senior Air Quality Compliance Program Manager - Lakewood, CO

We are seeking a full-time Senior Air Quality Project Manager with 6-15 years of experience in the air quality permitting and compliance field to join our growing Lakewood, Colorado office. This position will have the opportunity to work with our manufacturing customers and several small to mid-size oil and gas operators in Colorado and Wyoming in supporting customer air quality permitting and compliance needs.

We're looking for an experienced air quality compliance professional to lead permitting and compliance work for our manufacturing and oil & gas clients across Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah, while mentoring a team of project managers and environmental engineers.

 Job Functions:

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the Air Compliance team (Senior PMs, PMs, and early-career environmental professionals)

  • Prepare and oversee air quality permits: Title V, PSD, APENs and updates

  • Manage CO/WY oil and gas air permitting and compliance work

  • Interpret and implement CDPHE Regulation 7 requirements

  • Oversee emission inventory tools, rolling emission logs, and estimate calculators

  • Handle NSPS OOOO/OOOOa/OOOOb reporting and LDAR recordkeeping under Reg. 7

  • Strong written and verbal communication — you can explain technical requirements clearly to clients and regulators

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and mentoring junior staff

Air Quality Project Manager - Lakewood, CO

We are seeking a full-time Air Quality Project Manager with 3+ years of experience to join our growing Lakewood, Colorado office. You'll lead air permitting and compliance work for oil and gas clients — including APEN preparation, Regulation No. 7 LDAR programs, GHG reporting, and NSPS OOOOa compliance — while mentoring a team of environmental engineers and professionals.

If the candidate is an engineer working towards their PE, they will receive service years towards their 4 year work experience requirement under an Aquionix PE.

Job Functions:

Core responsibilities:

  • Prepare APENs and APEN updates

  • Maintain 12-month rolling emission logs

  • Manage Colorado and Wyoming oil and gas air permitting and compliance

If the candidate is an engineer working towards their PE, they will receive service years towards their 4 year work experience requirement under an Aquionix PE.

Environmental Technician - Lakewood, CO (0-3 years of experience)

We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our Lakewood, Colorado office. If the candidate is an engineer working towards their PE, they will receive service years towards their 4 year work experience requirement under an Aquionix PE.

Primary roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling and performance of field sampling and monitoring;

  • After-hours sampling;

  • Review and analysis of data;

  • Preparation of reports;

  • Maintenance of field sampling and monitoring equipment;

  • Coordination with off-site laboratory services;

Education: A bachelor’s degree in environmental, health and safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, science or a related technical field is required.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have:

  • Have a bachelor's degree, preferably in science or engineering;

  • Experience/knowledge of water quality sampling/compliance;

  • Have experience in water quality sampling/compliance (wastewater, stormwater, drinking water, ground water);

  • Be able to think analytically;

  • Be detail oriented and a competent technical writer;

  • Be well organized and able to manage several projects at once;

  • Be able to schedule and complete work with minimal supervision;

  • Have excellent communication skills;

  • Be proficient on computers and with Microsoft Office applications;

  • Be able to manipulate field equipment that weighs up to 50-pounds;

  • Be able to work in extreme weather conditions and at high altitude;

  • Have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts;

  • Be available for occasional overnight travel;

  • Have valid driver's license and an excellent driving record; and

  • Have basic knowledge of EPA and local environmental rules and regulations.

 The successful candidate must have a clean driving record, pass a criminal background check, and pass a drug and alcohol screening prior to employment.

Salary Range: $50K - $55K (depending on experience)
